Nafaess Launches Salah Ad Campain

Wouldn't you love to see one of these in between a show? (not that I watch TV to care heh)

Nafaess has recently launched a .:PAUSE:. Advertising Campaign to try and get more people to pray on time and be more aware of their salah.

Roughly translated, the videos say something like...

"I hear the adhaan, but I always say 'I will
finish after prayer'."

I'm guessing it says something like "when I'm doing something" after the "I hear the adhaan" bit... but I can't quite seem to make it out :D

Check the vid's out though (both are below in shaa Allah) ... I think it's funny how they have the girls shopping for jewlery, like its an every day thing or something. Bah! Yeahright.

It's mad wicked though that they have a prayer room in the mall ma shaa Allah. Although at first it kinda looked like a bathroom so I was like... erm.. she's gonna make wudhu or pray in there ya3ni? I was expecting a sign more like the one to the left (courtesty of ds-films and their broadband taraweeh article) and then of course I actually read the sign... silly me, and I thought the universal sign for a woman's restroom actually meant a restroom. Go figure! Actually, don't... that kinda sounds like betting.

(btw, for some inane reason that I can't seem to figure out -not that I should be able to figure it out if it's inane-, I have started saying "ya3ni" on more occassions than I'd like to - so you might have to bear with me for a few posts with that heh... I am in ardent hopes that it is indeed just a phase...)

Anyhow, on to the videos... ya3ni

subHan Allah, I love this:

al-salamu `alaykum wa raHmatu Allahi wa barakatuhu,

-smiles-

I read this and liked it a lot, thought I'd share it with you:

Being pleased with Allah is a quality that is like a good tree that is nourished by the water of sincerity in the garden of pure Islamic Monotheism. Its roots are faith and its branches are good deeds, it is a tree bearing fruit that is fresh and sweet. The Prophet Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam said:

“One has tasted the taste of faith if one is pleased with Allah as his Lord, with Islam as his religion, and with Muhammad as a Messenger.”

Niceness!

There is a saying "There lies a forest in every seed". We all have seen that after planting a seed, it grows up to be a plant, which then gives out fruits with many other seeds. Therefore, a forest can be grown from one seed if we kept on planting the new seeds that come out from it. It is indeed one of the evident miracles of Allah!

Similarly, the kalimah, there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His messenger, is only one sentence in size but it contains the entire paradise in it. Success in this world, in the grave, on the Day of Judgement and hereafter lies only in obeying the message of this kalimah.

People will not sit remembering God without the angels surrounding them, mercy covering them, peace descending on them. - Prophet Mohammad (asws)

The Prophet (s.a.w.) said:
Whenever a Muslim prays for his brother in secret, the angels say: And to you the same!
